Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Push ("the app", "we") is made by Jason Tjahjono. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how you control it. The short version: we collect only what's needed to keep your account and back up your months. No ads, no tracking, no selling data.
What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Sign in with Apple or Google (Apple may give a private relay address) | To identify your account |
| Name | Your sign-in provider, or what you type in the app | To greet you in the app |
| Account ID | Created when you sign in | To link your backup to you |
| App data | What you enter and play: monthly budget settings, hands and their outcomes, spending you log, Bankroll sessions, settings | To back up your months and restore them on your devices |
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers for advertising, or payment details. The app has no ads and no in-app purchases, and no real money ever changes hands.
Where your data is stored
Your account and backup are stored with Supabase (our database and sign-in provider) on servers in Singapore. Sign-in itself is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and database rules ensure each account can only read its own data.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your months backed up and in sync across your devices.
- To personalize small things in the app, like greeting you by name.
We don't use your data for advertising, don't track you across other apps or websites, and don't sell or share it with third parties, apart from the service providers above that run the app.
Google user data
If you choose Sign in with Google, the app asks Google only for the basic sign-in permissions (openid, email and profile). It does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service.
- What we access: your Google account's email address, name and a unique account identifier. Google also sends your profile photo URL; we don't use or display it.
- How we use it: only to create and sign in to your Push account, to show your name in the app, and to link your backup to you. Nothing else.
- How we store it: in our authentication database at Supabase (Singapore), encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by access rules so only your account can read its data.
- Who we share it with: nobody. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with third parties (apart from Supabase, which stores it on our behalf), and never used to train or improve AI or machine-learning models.
- Retention and deletion: kept while your account exists, and erased right away when you delete your account in Settings › Account › Delete account. You can also remove Push's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Push's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account and your account and backup are erased right away.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: in the app, Settings › Account › Delete account. This deletes your account, its backup and the data on that iPhone.
- Delete data on your iPhone only: Settings › Data › Delete all data.
- Correct your name: Settings › You.
- Access or other requests: email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Age
The app is for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll let you know in the app.
